STEP BY STEP GUIDE

1: Prepare Your Equipment

  • Preheat your espresso machine, portafilter, and cup.
  • Purge the grinder to ensure fresh grounds.

2: Dose and Grind

  • Weigh 21g of Solstice coffee and grind it to a fine consistency.
  • Distribute the coffee grounds evenly in the portafilter.

3: Tamp Evenly

  • Apply firm, even pressure to create a flat, level coffee bed.
  • Ensure no gaps or uneven spots for a balanced extraction.

4: Extract the Espresso

  • Lock the portafilter into the machine and start the shot.
  • Aim for an extraction time of 30 seconds, yielding 38g of espresso.
  • The espresso should have a thick, golden crema.

5: Taste and Adjust

  • Drink straight for a bold, chocolatey espresso, or steam milk for a latte, cappuccino, or flat white.

TROUBLESHOOTING & PRO TIPS

✔ If the shot runs too fast (under 30s), try a finer grind or increase the dose.
✔ If the shot runs too slow (over 30s), try a coarser grind or slightly reduce the dose.
✔ Always use filtered water for the best taste.

STEP BY STEP GUIDE

1: Prepare Your Equipment

  • Use a clean pour-over dripper and pre-wet the filter paper with hot water.
  • Discard the rinse water before brewing.

2: Dose and Grind

  • Weigh 18g of Solstice coffee and grind it to a medium consistency.

3: Bloom

  • Start with a 60g water pour, saturating the grounds.
  • Let it sit for 30-45 seconds to allow gases to escape.

4: Brew

  • Slowly pour the remaining water in small, circular motions, keeping the coffee bed evenly saturated.
  • Target a total brew time of 3:30 – 4:00 minutes.

5: Serve and Enjoy

  • Stir gently and let the coffee cool slightly before sipping.

STEP BY STEP GUIDE

1: Prepare Your Equipment

  • Insert a paper filter into the AeroPress cap and rinse with hot water.
  • Place the AeroPress on a sturdy mug or use the inverted method.

2: Dose and Grind

  • Weigh 15g of Solstice coffee and grind it to a medium-fine consistency.

3: Bloom

  • Add 50g of water and stir gently.
  • Let it bloom for 30 seconds.

4: Brew

  • Pour the remaining 160g of water slowly, then stir.
  • Attach the cap (if using the inverted method) and let steep for 1:30 minutes.

5: Press

  • After 2 minutes, press the plunger down slowly for 20-30 seconds.

6: Serve and Enjoy

  • Dilute with a bit of water if desired, or enjoy it as a rich, concentrated brew.
